Wyoming Elk Hunt - Outside of Cody WY.  -  Dates to be confirmed with outfitter.  Camp is located 33 miles deep into the Thorofare region of the Teton Wilderness in the heart of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.  This area is near the SE corner of Yellowstone National Forest.  Hunt includes meals, lodging, horses, trophy care and transportation from Cody WY. Black Bear Hunt - Adult/Youth hunt is in British Columbia, Canada.  Hunt Black bear With Calamity Creek Outfitters.  Bears are numerous in our outfit and clients can expect to see 10-20 black bears over the course of a 7 day hunt.  Colored bears including chocolate, cinnamon, blonde, and black with white comprise a good percentage of the black bear population.  Bears are hunted using spot and stalk techniques.  Bear hunts are based out of our Hungry Creek Lodge.  The Lodge offers first class accommodations in the heart of bear country. From the lodge we travel either by foot, 4x4, ATV, or horseback to locate bears.  During spring, the bears concentrate on avalanche slide chutes and in riparian areas along the rivers.  We spend the mornings and afternoons glassing the chutes and river valleys for our quarry.  Once spotted, we stalk within comfortable shooting range.  This style of hunting provides time for assessing bears and hiking to within good shooting range.
