Throughout the years, the Big Game Hunters Inc. has conducted dinner auctions to raise money to be used for education and the preservation of the shooting sports.   In the last five years BGHF has begun to place great emphasis in assistance to youth organizations.  We have begun to realize that educating our youth is paramount to continuing the conservation efforts that have been established by their forefathers.   BGHF provided support to the 2004 4H National Shooting event in Columbia, MO, and to the 2004 4H Missouri State Shooting Event.  BGHF through the years has sent Sixty Two Teachers to S.C.I’s American Wilderness Leadership School “AWLS” in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  

 Big Game Hunters was the first hunting organization to donate to the NSSF "Heritage Fund".  To date contributions totaling $42,000.00 have been received by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.  Financial support also went to the National Wild Turkey Federation, Missouri Department of Conservation’s “Share the Harvest” program, which provides donated wild game meat to the needy.  Pheasants Forever, Missouri Department of Conservation’s Teachers Workshop, Hunter Education Programs, Boy Scouts of America, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation, US Sportsmans Alliance, and the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep.  BGHF is now $50,000.00 paid into its $50,000.00 Missouri Youth Hunter Education Challenge Endowment with the NRA Foundation.
